Barthelmes Conservatory proudly serves over 360 children through partnerships with Tulsa public and private schools and community organizations where access to music instruction is limited. Our Satellite programs are designed to help students reach their fullest potential & enrich their lives through learning to play a musical instrument.
The Conservatory offers instrumental music in the form of group lessons in beginning, and intermediate cello, violin, viola, advance orchestra, beginning, intermediate and advance guitar, beginning, intermediate and advance percussion; and classes in the early childhood program Music Together.
The Conservatory provides administration, programming, curriculum, assessments, professional instructors, string and percussive instruments, stands and music.

The Satellite Music Classes are usually sixty minute long and twice a week. They last two 14 week semesters or 56 classes per year. At the end of each semester, the students are provided at least one performance opportunity in or outside the School.
To be equitable and accessible to all the students who qualify to participate in the satellite program, the classes are mostly conducted not before or after, but during, the regular school hours.
